Corrections to the hadron resonance gas from lattice QCD and their effect on fluctuation-ratios at finite density

The hadron resonance gas (HRG) model is often believed to correctly describe the confined phase of QCD. This assumption basis many phenomenological works on QCD thermodynamics and analysis yields in relativistic heavy ion collisions. We use first principle lattice simulations calculate corrections ideal HRG model. Namely, we determine subleading fugacity expansion coefficients grand canonical free energy, receiving contributions from processes like kaon-kaon or baryon-baryon scattering. achieve this goal by performing a two dimensional scan imaginary baryon number chemical potential (${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{B}$)---strangeness (${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{S}$) plane, where become Fourier coefficients. carry out continuum limit estimation these with temporal extents ${N}_{\ensuremath{\tau}}=8$, 10, 12 using 4stout-improved staggered action. then truncated extrapolate ratios strangeness fluctuations correlations finite potentials. Evaluating along crossover line, reproduce trend seen experimental data net-proton STAR collaboration.
